Niamatullah Rahi

Niamatullah Rahi is a seasoned development professional with over 13 years of progressive experience across the NGO and UN sectors, specializing in capacity building, grants management, and civil society strengthening. Joining SSEOA as Executive Director in November 2022, he has since provided strategic leadership to nationwide capacity development efforts benefiting 400+ NGOs/CSOs. He has effectively coordinated more than 185 national and international NGOs across Afghanistan and South Asia, demonstrating strong competence in project cycle management, partnership facilitation, and stakeholder engagement. Rahi’s expertise includes policy dialogue with government authorities, institutional development, and resolving operational challenges faced by civil society actors.
