Kankor (Board Exam) Preparation Program

Kankor (Board Exam) Preparation Program

This initiative was implemented by SSEOA to enhance the knowledge and capacity of female students in grades XI-XII within the school curriculum, targeting 1,100 girls. These students were enrolled in the preparatory classes for their Kankor exam, where teachers provided instruction in various subjects, such as mathematics, science, social science, and the Dari and Pashto languages for two hours daily, over a span of six months. SSEOA recruited 45 male and female teachers for this initiative, providing them with teaching materials and Kankor preparation chapters. The students also received the same materials, along with stationery, on a monthly basis. This intervention, funded by the Central Asia Institute (CAI), was implemented in Kabul, Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, Badakhshan, Parwan, and Kapisa provinces.
